January Update!

Welcome Alyat and Apurio to The Peace for Paul Family!
This month we welcomed our two newest members of The Peace for Paul Family, Alyat and Apurio! Their mother told us that Alyat is six years old and Apurio is two. You can read about Alyat here and Apurio here. We are so grateful!

Holiday
Holiday is officially over, the kids went back to school on January 30th. They had a WONDERFUL holiday! Thank you to everyone who made that possible. Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying their break:

"Surely I will be missing these kids when they report back to school. They have a lot of fun and are very active in everything. They like the goats. Right now it is dry season and Patrick has been riding all the way to the Nile to collect fresh grass for the goats." -- Fred

We are so proud of Emma! He's been such a great coach and the kids had so much fun playing football and net ball!

"Thank you so much for working hard to get some sponsors for Agnes and the rest. I am so happy that you received the photos. I am working so hard to ensure that everyone at least learns some skills on every game except that we only have football and net ball. Some of the children have promised to be the future Ronald, Fabregas, Messi, and other players more especially the boys. The girls are also doing very well as you can see them from the photos." -- Emma

Other News
  • New chickens arrived on the 20th of January. Here's what Fred had to say about them:

"Our chicks are so far doing well. Every morning the kids remove newspapers from which they fed and replace them with fresh ones. Then they spread food on these. I will introduce teh feeder next week. A few are allowed in at a time as the kitchen is small. The kids like them very much. At night we light a charcoal stove for them to warm. The veterinarian told us that we should expect eggs in July." -- Fred

  • We are continuing to furnish the Peace for Paul home! This month the family is getting a new couch. :)
