February Update

Back to School

The kids are back in school after a long holiday. They had such a great break, but are glad to return to their studies. During the break they had supplemental education including a reading program, sports program and CPR/First AID, fire safety, helmet safety and sex education classes. In addition they did arts and crafts and practiced debating. Needless to say we kept them busy!

We would like to bring in 12 needy more children to our PFP home, but we need sponsors! Sponsorship is $125 (full) or $65 (partial) per month and covers school fees, school boarding, healthcare, dental care, clothing, toiletries and more. The children we would like to bring in are orphaned and are in desperate need of a loving environment, nourishment, an education and hope. We can give them that! Can't we? Contact hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org if you can help!

Day Trip to Didi's World & Coca Cola Plant

Volunteer Adam spent three weeks with the PFP kids. We would like to thank him for his efforts and for generously sponsoring a trip for ALL of the children to go to the theme park Didi's World and the Coca Cola plant! They had a blast!

NEW Peace for Paul Junior Program

Thanks to our generous new sponsors we have launched the PFP Junior Program! Our new program will allow us to help a larger number of needy Ugandan children obtain an education. The children who benefit from our PFP Junior Program live in our neighborhood and are unable to afford school fees, uniform fees and school supplies. Because they have families to look after them, these children will not be living in our home. Rather, these children will live with their families and be sponsored through PFP for education costs only.

Happy Birthday Lainey!

Lainey is an eight year old from Washington with a BIG heart. For her birthday she decided that she didn't need anymore toys and asked that her friends bring gifts for the PFP kids instead! We are so grateful! She is an example to all of us.

Around the World Raffle

Purchase your chance to win two tickets to anywhere around the world (up to a $5,000 value!) for $20 and support the PFP children! The winner in 2012 went to Thailand and the winner in 2013 will be going to New Zealand this spring! If you are interested please email hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org
