School Visitation Day

Emma and Olivia captured some fantastic photos of our kids on visitation day. They enjoyed a fabulous lunch and had fun visiting. Aren't our kids the greatest?

Sponsorship Opportunities

"EDUCATE A GIRL, CHANGE A GENERATION."

We are hoping to bring in 12 more orphaned girls. This will be the last group of children we bring in for some time because it will bring both of our PFP homes to full capacity. If you are interested in sponsoring one of these wonderful girls please contact Heidi @ hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org or one of the directors.

Sponsorship is $65 per month for a half sponsor and $125 for full sponsorship. Sponsorship covers boarding school fees, clothes, food, medical (general, dental, mental), and much more.

Visit from Government Officials

Government officials from Karamoja visited the PFP homes and children and gave a wonderful report to the officials they work for. They were very happy with our employees and the treatment of our children. They would like us to assist more children as we are able. We plan to do so in August if we can find sponsors.

Secondary School

We have a group of six students who will be entering secondary school (high school) next school year. We are so incredibly proud of all of them as they have all earned top grades and have all made it into first division. This will allow for them to attend a great secondary school and will hopefully pave the way for university.

Congratulations to:

Olupot Paul (27 out of 63)
Ajuna Emma (23 out of 63 in his class)
Lotuke Agnes (21 out of 63)
Logel Michael (19 out of 63)
Kurre Bosco (12 out of 63)
Loduk Mark (8 out of 63)
Tikol Joseph (1st!!!!!! out of 63)

This is a very big deal for these kids and we are SO PROUD!

Happy Birthday Jessica!

We continue to be inspired by children helping children. A few months ago we told you about a little girl named Lainey who asked for gifts for our children instead of gifts for herself at her birthday party. Last month another little girl named Jessica, child of our PFP sponsor Andrea, held a birthday fundraiser at her own birthday party. She raised $200,000 shillings which will cover the cost of a swimming trip and birthday party for all of our 45 PFP kids! We are SO impressed and thankful. Happy birthday Jessica!!! We'll post photos of the party next month.

Tire Swing at Girls' Home

The boys at Hope Home love their tire swing so much it only seemed fair that the girls as Peace Home got one too! We didn't have a big tree to hang it from, but we figured it out. The girls are absolutely loving it! Thank you again to the awesome PFP supporters who made this happen.

PFP Jr. Program

Thanks to our generous new sponsors we were able to launch the PFP Junior Program a few months ago! Our new program allows us to help a larger number of needy Ugandan children obtain an education. The children who benefit from our PFP Junior Program live in our neighborhood and are unable to afford school fees, uniform fees and school supplies. Because they have families to look after them, these children will not be living in our home. Rather, these children will live with their families and be sponsored through PFP for education costs only.

Meet Faima, Fahad, and Phionah, our PFP Jr. students!

Farmer Fred's Foods

Our FFF Farm is doing well. Farmer Fred continues to successfully grow a variety of greens, bananas, and we're waiting for the passion fruit to ripen.
