The children took a trip to to a beach of sorts to celebrate their birthdays and had such a marvelous time! Here Becky gives us an account of the day:
"Upon arrival the children headed straight to the water to take their first swim at a beach. We then had lunch, it was a meal to remember as it had all of the local foods that the children love so much. Next the little ones went to the park to play and the old ones took a boat ride. We celebrated their birthdays, shared cake and returned home. Everything was so perfect!"

Holiday Programs
This holiday the children are being taught the moral code program. This program includes lessons and discussions regarding respect and honesty. The children also participated in the sports program and the novel reading program, keeping them very busy.
Top 5 Readers for this holiday:
- Agnes Lotuke
- Kurre Bosco
- Lodukk Mark
- Agnes Longok
- Olupot Paul
Each of the top five readers won money to purchase candy or sweets with.
Graduation
Becky had her graduation ceremony. She waited to have it until this holiday so that the entire PFP family could attend, hoping to inspire the children to go to university as well. Congratulations Becky!

Visit to Masese
The children visited their parents, relatives and friends in the slums of Masese during their holiday. They all dress to impress when they go, a sign of respect in Ugandan culture. Aren't they just darling?

Backpacks
If you offered to put together a backpack for your sponsor child or another child and you have not sent it to or contacted Lisa McIntosh, please do so. :) She is trying to coordinate with all of you so that she can take them with her to Uganda in August.
Land Title
PFP finally owns a Freehold Title on the land that we purchased two and a half years ago! This is what we mean when we refer to "Africa time." Haha.
Septic System
We're currently selecting a contractor to install a larger septic system and to build a perimeter wall and the multi-use facility.
Current Fundraiser
A golf tournament fundraiser is being held in Calgary, Canada on June 24th!
See below for details and join in on the fun!
