June Update

3-D Rendering by TGB Architects
TGB Architects created a 3-D rendering of our children's home! The design will change slightly but this gives you some idea of what our self-sustainable home will look like. Thank you TGBA!

Loputh's Second Surgery

Loputh is going back to Kampala International Hospital for his second ear surgery with Dr. Mufumba by his side. Thank you Lisa for covering the cost of the surgery and for supporting Loputh! He blessed to have such a loving and caring sponsor. Also, thank you Dr. Mufumba for all that you do for our children, especially Loputh. We are lucky to have all of you on our team!

L to R: Loputh and Mark all smiles!

These are the details Dr. Mufumba gave us about Loputh's second surgery:

"Loputh's ear had healed and even the repaired ossicles and ear drum were all intact and was now able to hear with the repaired ear. However, when he examined the other ear, he said it was already perforated and with alot of debris. He said, that the same operation known as TYMPANOMASTEIDECTOMY was required. This involves: 1) The removal of debris and pus discharge 2) There is reconstruction of the middle ear components and 3) The repair of the ear drum."

Dr. Mufumba Returns from Egypt

Dr. Mufumba's trip to Egypt was a success! He completed a three week intensive course in Cairo and received his training certificate. We are so proud of you Doctor! What an accomplishment!

New Sponsorship Opportunities:

We are looking for 2 new Family Sponsors at $50/month. Family Sponsors support all of the children.

Four of our children are also in need of sponsors. If you are interested in sponsoring an individual child or know of someone who is please get in touch with us! :)

Peace for Paul Meeting in Portland

Lisa McIntosh visited us in Portland, Oregon last weekend for a Peace for Paul meeting! It was extremely productive (and a ton of fun).
